Guidelines For Parents

We expect parents to

Recognize that the education of children is a joint responsibility of the parents and the school community.

Provide a healthy space for study and ensure homework assignments are completed.

Know the school and classroom rules and also help their children understand them and build a supportive attitude towards following them.

Make use of the school diary to check for assignments everyday and also to communicate with teachers.

Ensure that children bring only items that are appropriate and related to the subjects at school.

Demonstrate in their own behaviour that all members of the school community should be treated with respect and understand that even if there is conflict due to a member of staff's oversight, parents must remain calm and respectful.

Understand that their children cannot be visited during class hours. Seek permission from the Head of the Institution for such visits.

Attend parent-teacher meetings without fail and collect the mark sheet in person.
